Artist booking and management

Hello all....this is Scott from KEMG

We have been working diligently towards starting a Christian artist and band booking and management company for the past year. Looks like we are almost ready to hit the ground running. The name of our new company will be Kingdom Events Management Group, LLC.

I have played for a Christian rock band for a number of years and due to other circumstances, I had to drop out of the band. While playing drums for the band, I took on the responsibility of doing most of the booking and management duties. I can tell you that this was the most difficult part. As a musician, I just wanted to be playing and sharing our message.

So....since I am no longer able to travel with the band...this new company was formed by my partner and I to stay in touch with the music business and artists and bands in general. We hope to provide a viable service to our clients that will allow them the time to focus on their music.

Any artists or band members out there????? Please give us your thoughts on contracting with an indie booking and management company. Would you pay to have someone book venues for you and would you like someone to take on the duties of managing the band as well?
